He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Miner and Levonia Miner (Croston); his wife Linda Miner (Perine); his granddaughter Tiara Burch; and his siblings, Laura Miner, Ruthanne Jackson, Edward, Troy, Larry and Peter Sr. Miner.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Miner, Hollie Miner, Virginia Miner and Michael Miner Jr. (Misty Parsons); his siblings, Paulette Taylor and Marion Miner Sr.; and his grandchildren, Natalie Frost (Zac), Alivia Miner, Royce Miner, Tyrese Burch, Kayla Wayt, Lynda Wayt (Jay Graziani), Michael Anthony Miner (Kathleen), Jersey Ellis and Jackson Ellis. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home (2257 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (2698 Broadway Ave NE, Louisville, OH 44641).
