He is survived by: his wife Sandra Laign of Meyer's Lake; his daughters, Stacy Scheatzle (Brandon) and Mindy Cuenot; his grandchildren, Allyson Cuenot and Evan Scheatzle; and his siblings, Kelly Laign and Scott Laign (Jamie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
