He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Carmicheal; his daughters, Joy Carmicheal, Karen Girt (Rich), Linda Clapp, Lisa Grubbs (Terri) and Ruth Ann Hickman; his grandchildren, Stephanie Schulte (Jason), Amber Reed (Mike), Ray Clapp (Noel), Michelle Stoia (Marcel), Heather Clapp, Emily Grubbs, Elijah Grubbs, Brianna Grubbs, Adrian Grubbs, Bettina and Timo; his great grandchildren, Braiden, Bryce, Brinlee, Masyn, Jeremy, Joshua, Elijah Jr., Nikolai, Tamara and Marek; and his sister Ruth Motz-Ayala.
