He is survived by: his wife Cindy Maier (Friedrich); his daughters, Dr. Megan Staub (Tim) and Lindsey Schuette (Isaac); his grandchildren, Skylar, Timmy, Sophie and Will; his siblings, Jim Maier (Elaine), Jere Maier (Margie) and Sharon Kaczmarczyk; and his mother-in-law Joanne Friedrich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
