He was predeceased by: his parents, Polly "Mae" Pamplin and Herbert Murphy; his former wife Johnetta Pamplin; his daughter Olivia Pamplin (Oliver); his siblings, Classie Jones and John Pamplin; and his aunt Bessie Fullilove (Willie Smith).

He is survived by: his wife Johnetta "Toosie" Reynolds; his children, Robert Pamplin, Marian Pamplin-Somler (Andre) and Margo Pamplin (Thomas); his grandchildren, Asia, Zaria, Robert, Audrea, Heaven, Ne'vach, Andre Jr., Xavier, Deh'vean, Samuel, Z'yeira, Nadia, Johnetta, Aunjohnee', Mar'asia, Antoinette and Elijah; his sisters, Maxine Ivory (Robert), Victoria Smith and Diane Pollard; and his close friend Renee Somler.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM.
