He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carman and Margaret Carman (Winter); his brothers, William and John Carman; and his stepbrother John Giovanelli.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Goodchild); his children, Kelly Daughtery (David Dodson), Richard Jr. (Lorraine Pratt) and William (Terina); his siblings, Barbara Kraus (Robert), Betty Fornash (David), James (Jane) and Kenneth; his sister-in-law Roxanne Carman; and his aunt Jean Winter. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
