He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Steese and Mildred Steese; his former wife Lois (Steele); and his wife Donata (Gemma). He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Flowers (Shawn) and Susan Long; his grandchildren, Chris Long (Sarah), Amanda Dawson (Todd), Samantha Zanin, Brittany Melville (Brandon) and Kirby Flowers; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Brantley, Lexi, Jay, George and Athena.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, OH 44710). The military honors was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (3496 Lincoln Way E, Massillon, OH 44646).
