He was predeceased by: his father Donald R. Shope. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Shope (Diener); his sons, Kevin Shope (Amy) and Matthew Shope (Vanae); his grandchildren, Dylan, Anderson, Magnolia and Charlie Shope; and his sister Sally Bryan.
