He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Fausnight and Betty Fausnight (Chamberlain); and his sister Denise. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Tom (Barb), Kim, Missy (Mitch) and Jamie (Danielle); his grandchildren, Valerie, Andy, Trent, Jacob, Olivia, Mickey and Tanner; his great grandchildren, Clayton and Carter; and his siblings, Susan Overmeier, Cindy Brownsword (Alan), Jody Tinskey and Jeff Fausnight.
