He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jay and Mildred M. Kandel (Zink). He is survived by: his daughters, Cassandra Talafous (Trevor) and Kristina Lockwood (Nathan); his grandchildren, Carlee, Ella, Elise and Wyatt; his siblings, Dale Kandel (Gail), Mike Kandel (Shirley), Carl Kandel (Sherri), Carolyn Wagner (Dan), Jeanette Clark (Bret), Wally Kandel (Diane) and Kay Barney (Tim); and his close friend Jennifer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Louisville American Legion Post 548 (925 W St Louis Ct, Louisville, OH 44641).
