He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Layton (Armstrong); his son Brent Layton; his daughter-in-law Dana Layton; his grandchildren, Melissa, Ashley, Jenna, Kayla, Wyatt, Brooke, Cross and Nathan; his sister Nancy Grandstaff; and his pet Sir Winston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
