Roosevelt leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Roosevelt’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Roosevelt will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt McDonald, Sr. and Isabell McDonald (Dukes); his grandparents, Joseph Jones Jr., Cassie Jones, Sylvester and Lillie Ruth Dukes; and his sister Denise McDonald Wilson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bernice White of Massillon, Linda McDonald of Canton and Rose Butler (Roscoe) of Waldorf; Mary Jean Hood of Canton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (729 Cherry Ave NE, Canton, OH 44702). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
