He was predeceased by: his parents, James Southers and Inez Southers; his siblings, Ardena Clive, Paul Perry Jr., James "Pinky" Southers, Barbera Silva, Danny Southers and Terry "Turk" Southers; and his daughter Samantha Southers.

He is survived by: his sister Debra Scott; and his children, Greg Southers, Michael Southers, Angie Southers, Bobbi Miller, Michelle Oberster, Jimmy Southers and Sara Driver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
