We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 89, Samuel Bacon Jr. (Canton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth, Naomi, Hannah, Michael and Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Bretz); his children, Laurie Langenfeld (Francis), John "Dutch" Bacon (Susan) and Lisa Rouse (John); his grandchildren, Barbara Boord, Jonathan Langenfeld, Andrew Bacon, Aaron Langenfeld, Matthew Rouse and Lindsay Haswell; his sister Magdalene Shaffer; and his brother-in-law W. John Gross. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Samuel's name to Community Christian Church.
