Shirley Ann Janecek Obituary

Shirley Ann Janecek, age 90 of Canton, passed away Wednesday evening in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Shirley Wasn't the life of the party; she WAS the party! She had the best smile in every room and always shared her opinion about everything in her ornery way.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Ed in 2021 and a brother Richard Sweaney. She is survived by daughter, Cindy Bloch (Tom Curtis); son, Randall (Charlene) Janecek; grandchildren, Cortney (Rob) James, Chad (Jenn Roth) Bloch, Randy Janecek, Jason (Sarah) Janecek and brother, David Sweaney.

Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 at the Arnold Funeral Home 1517 Market Ave N., Canton with pastor Dan James officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 10-11:00a.m. Following cremation, she will be placed in the Mausoleum at North Lawn Cemetery.

Shirley's family also acknowledges the wonderful and heartfelt care provided by everyone at the Compassionate Care Center, especially Desarae and Pamela.
