She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Dukes and Lilly Ruth Dukes; her husband Richard Spencer Sr.; her son Timothy L. Spencer; and her great grandchild Jaden.

She is survived by: her sons, David Michael Spencer of Canton and Richard Spencer Jr. (Rose) of Canton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
