She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Christie and Viola Christie; and her son John K. Crabs Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Linda Crabs; her granddaughters, Kristen and Megan; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Lydia, Charlotte and Ben; and her sisters, Chris, Jean and Patty.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support future nurses through Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.
