He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve T. Lane and Grace Dale Wright Lane; his brother Dale Whitacre; his grandparents, Jim and Blanche Wright; his parents-in-law, John G. and Mary M. Horvath; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Tinney, David Horvath, Neil Cox and Michael Kelley.
He is survived by: his significant other John G. Horvath Jr.; his siblings, Linda Tinney of Uhrichsville, Sandy McGarvey of New Philadelphia and James Whitacre; his sisters-in-law, Kathy J. Cox of Midvale, Christy L. Kelley of West Jordan and Kathy Marie Horvath of Asheville; and his siblings' children, Jack, Grace Eileen "Sissy" Tinney, Heather Burdette, Ryan, Jerrod Cox, Andrew, Logan, Sean Kelley, Kenneth Horvath and Brandy Devore. He is also survived by his many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
