With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma M. Reed of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Thelma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grant Ross and Ethel Ross; her son Douglas Reed; and her siblings, Peggy DeHoff and Larry Ross.

She is survived by : her children, Darlene Jones (Dary), Diane Bond (Duane Carnathan), Debbie Brooks (Keith Keim) and Danny Reed (Linda); her brother John Ross (Barb); and her close friend Patricia Fick. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stier-Israel Funeral Home (917 E Main St, Louisville, OH 44641). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
