He was predeceased by: his stepmother Lois Housel. He is survived by: his fiancée Shawna Keinath; his fiancée's children, Caila and Corrin; his parents, Robert E. Housel, Jr. and Mary M. Blair; his siblings, Robert III Housel (Lynn), Andy Housel (Tawnya) and Jessicca Dietrich (Eric); and also Aedan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
