It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Wackerly (Canton, Ohio), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Wackerly to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Wackerly and Theora Wackerly (Hambach); and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Joan Wackerly (Lee); his son Rick Wackerly (Amy); his grandchildren, Brian Wackerly, Lauren Bachmann (Kyle), Theo Wackerly (Lyndia) and Emily Wackerly; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Shonk and Jimmy Lee (Mary Lou). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wackerly Funeral Home (1375 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44714).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Hospice, the Aultman Cancer Center, or the Canton Food Bank in his memory.
