He was predeceased by: his parents, John Doubledee and Elizabeth Doubledee (Nellis). He is survived by: his sister Deanna Doubledee; and his brother-in-law Philip Simons of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel (5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (726 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44702).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the John Wesley Doubledee Endowed Scholarship at the University of Akron, Akron Ohio.
