He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen P. Faherty and Ruth M. Faherty (McGreevy); and his siblings, Joan, Anne Marie, James and William.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Faherty (Irwin); his sons, Michael of Greensboro, NC, Stephen (Kelly) of Cincinnati, OH, Joseph of North Canton, OH and Sean (Melissa) of Dublin, OH; and his grandchildren, Reid, Ryan, Elizabeth and Andrew. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
