With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilson Rownd of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wilson Rownd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur E. Rownd and Margaret Rownd (Hawkins); his former wife Joan Rownd (Mosser); and his brothers, Harry Rownd and Robert Rownd.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Allen Rownd (Slagle); his daughter Marie (family: Jeanette Rownd, Judy Schlabach, Linda Rosenson); his stepchildren, Tamara Morrow (Greg), Jeffrey Allen (Laura) and Kevin Allen; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Rownd and Gail Rownd. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be sent to Christ Church for the Capital Fund of Camp Wakonda.
