Wilson Rownd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilson Rownd of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wilson Rownd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur E. Rownd and Margaret Rownd (Hawkins); his former wife Joan Rownd (Mosser); and his brothers, Harry Rownd and Robert Rownd.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Allen Rownd (Slagle); his daughter Marie (family: Jeanette Rownd, Judy Schlabach, Linda Rosenson); and his stepchildren, Tamara Morrow (Greg), Jeffrey Allen (Laura) and Kevin Allen. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Presbyterian Church (530 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44702).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be sent to Christ Church for the Capital Fund of Camp Wakonda.
