He was predeceased by: his wife Ashken; his parents, Melkon Ghazanchyan and Mariam Ghazanchyan; and his sisters, Emma and Seda.

He is survived by: his daughters, Zhanna (Ruben), Marina (Araik) and Karina (Gro); his grandchildren, Artur, Lilit (David), Inga (David), Gurgen, Mikayel (Veronica), Georgii, Michael and Luiza; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Erik, Emma and Annabel.
