He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart F. Cornelius and Ellen G. Cornelius (Urwiller); his son Donald E. Cornelius, Jr.; his wife Patricia Cornelius; and his siblings, Dorothy Crouch, Dixie Guisinger, Fern Cornelius and Robert Cornelius.
He is survived by: his son Daniel E. Cornelius (Angela); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kakungulu and Zach Cornelius; and his sister Joella Welsh.
