She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold W. Smith and Ethel D. Smith (Beaver); her daughter Gatha Insley; and her brother Glenn Smith. She is survived by: her husband Larry L. Layton; her son Stephen "Steve" Insley; and her grandson Jason Hamilton.
