He was predeceased by: his parents, James Overton and Betty Overton (Workman); and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Overton, Jr. and Deborah Sue Maharg. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Overton (Nethers); his daughters, Mandy Overton and Kelly Overton; his grandson Colt Hanes; his brother Bobby Overton; his stepsister Diana Boatwright; and his cousin Valerie Workman (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
