He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward G. Abel and Gladys K. Abel (Walliser); and his siblings, Edward Abel, Bruce Abel (Helene) and Lonnie Abel.
He is survived by: his children, Brad A. Abel of West Chester, PA and Shannon Abel-Molloy (John) of Enola, PA; his grandchildren, Katie, Jack and Sarah; his brother Lee G. Abel (Connie); and his sister-in-law Anna Abel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
