He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Prise and Geraldine La Prise (Lutat); his stepmother Doris Beaudette La Prise; his sister Louanne La Prise O'Neill; and his brother-in-law James Bagnell.

He is survived by : his wife Marie Bagnell La Prise; his daughter Caroline La Prise McGinn (Sean); his grandson John La Prise (Rebecca); his siblings, Suzanne DiSessa (Louis), Tom La Prise (Susan) and Tim La Prise (Maureen); his in-laws, Jane Ginsberg (Greg), Thomas Bagnell III (Andrea), John Bagnell, Mary Bagnell and Kathy Finnegan (John); and his pet Ruby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Downingtown (332 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
