She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Bodnar and Nesttie Bodnar (Kyra); and her brothers, Charles "Basil", Teddy and Roger.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Kurtz; her sons, Jeffrey Kurtz and James Kurtz; her grandchildren, Nicholas Kurtz (Kirby) and Jessica Ciecwisz (Kolby); her great grandchildren, Taran, Kellen and Saylor; and her brother James (Maryann Bodnar). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Peter Roman Catholic Church (4 S 5th St, Coplay, PA 18037). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Veronica.
