He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hoekzema and Hilda Hoekzema (Albrinck); and his sister Janet Hoekzema. He is survived by: his wife Gail A. Hoekzema (Gardner); his children, Kevin G. Hoekzema (Francine) of Philadelphia and Alicia Bowman (Adam) of Cornelius, NC; his grandchildren, Francesca, Alexandra, Gabriella Hoekzema, Andrew, Luke and Anna Bowman; and his sister Lois Travinsky of Florida.
