He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Marie Schelkopf (Greene); his parents, J. Raymond Schelkopf and Helen Schelkopf (Dungan); and his sisters, Rosemary Gurley (Schelkopf) and Joyce Ann (Schelkopf).
He is survived by: his children, John Bruce Schelkopf (Thuy), Suzanne Marie Perrino (Joseph) and Matthew David Schelkopf; and his grandchildren, Jasminh Schelkopf, Joseph Anthony Perrino, Sophia Marie Perrino and John "Jack" Patrick Schelkopf.
