He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret Griffin Lyons; his parents, Patrick Joseph Lyons and Frances Mary Dougherty Lyons; his son Kevin J. Lyons; and his sister Frances Teesdale Cleary.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Lyons (Sandra) of Downingtown, Kathleen Lyons of Downingtown, Sheila Rishell (Keith) of Wilmington, DE and Colleen Thornton of Phoenixville; his grandchildren, Nina Bartlett (Justin), Megan Lyons, Colleen Lyons, Luke Lyons, Deanna Rishell (Edwin Figueroa), Haley Gerek (Ed), Steven Rishell, Eric Thornton (Sanyukta Gokhale), Erin Strickler (Hank), John Thornton (Emilie), Nick Lyons and Riley Lyons; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Emma Bartlett, Fiona Figueroa and Kailash Thornton.
