She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Elmer Smith; her parents, Michael A. Hesser and Vaneita Chesney Hesser; and her brother Rodger Hesser. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Dorsey (Edward), Walter E. Smith, Jr. (Kathy) and Debbie Guyer (Rich). She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
