He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Doolan and Helen Doolan (Bogdan). He is survived by: his wife Lynn Doolan (Cleveland); his son Richard Christopher Doolan (Stephanie) of Dubai; his grandchildren, Richard Grant Doolan and Peyton Rose Doolan; and his siblings, Jay Doolan (David), Peter Doolan (Ida), Joseph Doolan and Mary Ellen Doolan (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Downingtown (338 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rich's memory to the Brandywine Conservancy (https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com) or Natural Lands' Stroud Preserve, honoring his appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors.
