She was predeceased by: her husband Karl W. Rau; her parents, Genevieve Mulherin, (Heath) and Andrew J. Mulherin, Jr.; and her siblings, Andrew J. Mulherin III and Joan Mulherin-Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Armstrong (Jim) of Stefan Rau, MD and Phillip Rau (Joy); her grandchildren, Samuel and Molly Rau; her sister Mary Clare Mulherin; and her child Philadelphia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
