She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry F. Greiner and Katharine Knox Greiner; and her siblings, Henry F. Greiner and Suzanne Grossman. She is survived by : her husband F. Stephen Thomas; her nieces, Jody M. Spangler (Robert) and Katharine S. Trolier (James); her nephew George Greiner; and her goddaughter Lillian Greiner. She is also survived by great grand nieces; and by her nephews; her 3 horses, cats, and dog.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Elizabeth Catholic School, American Farmland Trust, or a charity of your choice.

“I will always remember how lovely a person Jean was. I have known her for several years from Bible study. Jean invited me to help at the Coatesville Veterans Center, and I have wonderful memories of her there, and at the Ludwig’s Corner flea market. She was a wonderful friend, who always saw the bright side of life and people. I am so blessed to have had her in my life.”
