She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Brocious and Lawrence Brocious; her spouse Gerson Bence; her siblings, Verna Smith and Robert Brocious; and her grandson Benjamin Bence.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Burkhart (Doug), Gregory Bence (Holly) and Jeffrey Bence (Telena) of Corvallis, OR.; her grandchildren, Emily Bence, Aaron Burkhart, Elizabeth Bence, Hayden Bence, Trista Hamilton (Aris) and Samuel Bence; her brother Dwight Brocious (Margie); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Bothell (Dick). She is also survived by family members include her sister and best friend.
