He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Muller and Margaret I. Muller (Crilley); his siblings, Barbara McKee, Margaret Spence, Rose Mary Buckshaw, Joe Muller and Regina Dietrick; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Dietrick, Paul McKee, Stanley Spence and Dory Kunkle Muller.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Muller (Morganti); his children, Lori Ann Singel (Michael) of Indiana, PA, James L. Muller II (Danielle) of Forest, VA and Timothy A. Muller (Linda) of McDonald, PA.; his grandchildren, Powers Muller and Steven Girouard (Muller); and his brother-in-law James Buckshaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
