He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick O'Callaghan and Mae O'Callaghan; his wife Annamae Catherine O'Callaghan (McCartin); his brothers, David O'Callaghan, James O'Callaghan and John Joseph O'Callaghan; and his son-in-law Robert Joseph Reger, Sr..

He is survived by: his children, Ann Clair (Bill), Trish Reger Epperson (Paul), Brian O'Callaghan (MaryKay) and Michael O'Callaghan; his grandchildren, Joanna Durham (Will Saba), John Durham (Hailey Durham) of Robert, Emily Reger, Thomas Reger, Daniel O'Callaghan and Kathleen "Katie" O'Callaghan; and his brother William Patrick O'Callaghan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
