He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Caspar MD and Helen; his stepson Charles Damon Benjamin; his brother Thomas Bender; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Bender; his sisters, Helen Bender and Elizabeth Kelley; his brother-in-law Frank Kelley; and his sister Kathleen Langdon (James).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz"; his daughter Julie Townsend; and his grandson Nikolas Regalbuto. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
