He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kirby and Margaret Kirby (Banks). He is survived by: his wife Carole Kirby (Chester); his children, John E. Kirby (Ellen) of Milton, MA and Kristin M. Milley (Don) of Elkins Park; and his grandchildren, Cate, Jack, Violet and Stella.
