It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George R. Walter of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Walter and Ruth Walter (Richert); his former wife Janette Walter; his daughter Beth Ann Walter; and his stepson Robert T. Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Foster (Cassel); his sons, Norman Scott Walter of Hatboro and George A. Walter of Lansdale; his stepchildren, Jay Scott (Carol) of Kulpsville and Jennifer Foster-Pone (David) of Souderton; and his siblings, Jean White, Lee Roy Walter, Alfred Walter, Nan Spencer, Fred Walter, Lois McKenna, Elwood Walter, Henry Walter and Elias Walter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home (701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
