He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Walter and Ruth Walter (Rickert); his former wife Janette Walter; his daughter Beth Ann Walter; and his stepson Robert T. Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Foster (Cassel); his sons, Norman Scott Walter of Hatboro and George A. Walter of Lansdale; his stepchildren, Jay Scott (Carol) of Kulpsville and Jennifer Foster-Pone (David) of Souderton; and his siblings, Jean White, Lee Roy Walter, Alfred Walter, Nan Spencer, Fred Walter, Lois McKenna, Elwood Walter, Henry Walter and Elias Walter.
