He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Bette" Slotter; his parents, Clarence Slotter and Pearl Slotter (Moyer); and his siblings, Jack Slotter, Betty Reading, Jean Flosdorf and Gloria Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Slotter (Nancy), Leslie Horvath (Joseph) and Karen Miskowsky. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
