In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Irene had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Irene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Dale W. Bookheimer; her parents, John Fowler and Elizabeth Fowler (Lamping); and her sister Katherine Kozlowski. She is survived by: her sons, Edward W. Bookheimer (Crista) of Lansdale, David W. Bookheimer (Christine) of Telford, Carl W. Bookheimer (late Angela Carleone) of North Wales and George A. Bookheimer (Amy Longaker) of North Wales; and her brother John Fowler (Dori) of Harlyesville. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home (701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
