He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herron and Mary Kate Herron (Higgins); and his brother William "Billy" Herron. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Herron; his children, Kathleen Herron of Berwyn, Bernadette Gough (George) of Ashburn, VA, James Herron, Jr. (Dianne) of Harleysville and Matthew Herron (Amy) of Lansdale; and his siblings, Mary Prinzo (Anthony) and Frank Herron (Ann). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Herron's memory to Corpus Christi School, 920 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.
