He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Edna (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Ricketts); his sons, Chris (Nicole) of Wexford, PA and Jeff (Sharon) of Arlington, VA.; his grandchildren, Austin, Owen, Libby, Bobby, Bridget and Corinne; and his siblings, Jodee of Glenside, Bill of Warrington and Ed of Warrington.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Jim's name to either.
