He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Schwarz and Erna Schwarz (Stark); his wife Lore Schwarz (Ruof); his sister Doris Sailer (Schwarz); his son Peter K Schwarz, Sr.; and his granddaughter Stefanie Lynne Schwarz.

He is survived by: his son Steven; his daughters-in-law, Lynne Schwarz and Christine Schwarz; and his grandchildren, Scott, William, Peter Jr., Emma and Margo Schwarz (Erika Witt). He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
