He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Schmittinger (Storti); his parents, Frank Schmittinger and Isabelle Schmittinger (Rovarano); and his siblings, Carol Lugat, Robert Schmittinger, Janet Gallagher and William Schmittinger.
He is survived by: his children, Deanne Falcone (Thomas) of Lansdale, PA and Ronald Schmittinger, Jr. (Lisa) of Franconia, PA; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brenna, Nicole, Ryan and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Owen, Audrey, Juliet and Norah; and his brother Frank Schmittinger.
